‘Poldark’ episode 4 preview (TBS): Teases on Aidan Turner’s Ross, Demelza

Tonight, we come more or less to the midway point of “Poldark,” the enthralling British important that has managed to make its way to American television this summer. There is so much story still to be told, and a good percentage of it should end up making you smile. Granted, there are also moments where you will be worried over the future of some of these characters, as well.

Without further ado, let’s go ahead and dive into what we have to share here. Given that this is episode 4 tonight, it feels only appropriate that we present to you four separate teasers from the hour on PBS.

1. Prepare for a big discovery at the mine! This could be a major step in the right direction for Ross in his business ventures, but that is far from a guarantee. We have to expect that there may be some more bumps in the road, as well.

2. Aidan Turner’s character expresses some ambivalence towards Demelza, but by the end of the episode his feelings are pretty definitively known one way or another.

3. Francis will find himself once again in trouble tonight, courtesy of a banker who may not have the best of attentions for Ross’ mine.

4. One of the overall themes of the episode will be trying to find a way to find comfort in uncomfortable circumstances. Ross is still getting accustomed to life back in Cornwall, while Demelza may still be finding a way to get used to customs as a whole. It’s a jam-packed episode with key developments.
