‘Scream Queens’ spoilers: A killer reveal and more from Lea Michele, cast
Ryan Murphy got a double-dose of all things San Diego Comic-Con today, as he was a part of a panel discussion that featured both of his shows in “American Horror Story” and “Scream Queens.” Even though one of them has yet to even air, there was still enough of a crowd present here that it filled the cavernous Hall H with people eager to see the stars and hear a thing or two about what is coming up. (What really surprised us was seeing online how packed the autograph line was for “Scream Queens.”)
Take a look below at what we think are some of the more notable moments from the panel.
1. Murphy claims if you watch closely enough, you will be able to figure out who the killer is in the very first episode. Even if it obvious, we imagine that most of the reason to check out this show is the laughs and the entertainment of it all.
2. Lea Michele said that the neckbrace that she is forced to wear to play Hester.
3. Jamie Lee Curtis claimed that she was at Comic-Con for the first time thanks to “the fans,” and she also made fun of her yogurt commercial history.
4. Abigail Breslin was thrilled that she was going to be playing someone nasty in one of the Chanels, a group of sorority sisters led by Emma Roberts.
5. Murphy did not necessarily rule out some potential musical numbers for the cast, but said that it is pretty unlikely based on what he has done already on “Glee.” We also know that Michele is looking to move past musical roles.
“Scream Queens” premieres on Fox Tuesday, September 22. If you missed it, head over here for more news on the “American Horror Story” side of things! Also, sign up to score even more updates on all we cover, courtesy of our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: Fox.)
