‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: Two-hour premiere will have ‘Arrow’

Legends -The premiere of “Legends of Tomorrow” is going to air on The CW in 2016, and you can definitely expect a lot of action, adventures, and craziness. Also, you can definitely anticipate plenty of tie-ins between this show and two other flagship programs on the network. Specifically, we are talking here about both “Arrow” and “The Flash.”

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly while at San Diego Comic-Con Saturday, new executive producer Phil Klemmer said that their two-hour premiere will be predicated by an “Arrow” / “The Flash” crossover that will introduce some of the new characters, and also at the same time show how the group comes together and what this new series will look like.

If the premiere episode airs almost as a two-hour movie, we imagine that it will technically be listed as two separate episodes and could premiere as early as January. When you remember that the show has a 16-episode order, there are not going to be many other ways for the show to air an entire story during the 2015-16 season otherwise.

Hopefully, there will be some other great news hinted at a little bit later today, given that all things DC Entertainment are going to be highlighted in an enormous panel event at the conclusion tonight. Then, many of the shows are going to go back to resume production. Given that Klemmer is writing this first episode now, it may be a little longer before “Legends of Tomorrow” starts to get fully underway. We’ll have more news as it comes out.
