‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: How Kaitlyn Bristowe discovers Shawn Booth, Nick Viall’s argument

Monday’s new episode of “The Bachelorette” is likely to be a variety of different things at a variety of different times. It is our hope that there will be at least a little bit of romance thrown in there, just as it is also our hope that there will be some drama and actual substance that we can talk about the next day. Typically around this point in the season are when things start to get a little boring. You are ultimately rather lucky to have one person in the top three who brings any conflict at all. The rest are more than likely to just sit around and spout of various lines about how this is all a fairy-tale. Luckily, that has happened a little less than usual this season.

The main event Monday, and we really mean to say it like we’re talking about a wrestling pay-per-view event, is the showdown between Nick Viall and Shawn Booth. These two guys clearly do not care about each other that much, and all of this looks to be coming to a head based on what the ABC synopsis below teases:

“Kaitlyn’s truly bold and untraditional journey to find love is rapidly coming to a dramatic end. The field is now down to the final three men – Ben H., Nick and Shawn – all hoping for the chance to capture her heart. After Kaitlyn has her first intimate overnight date with Nick, Sean cannot control his jealousy and continues to have a heated argument with his arch enemy. Ben H. and Kaitlyn tour the Irish countryside on horseback, and he confesses his love for the Bachelorette. Then, Shawn goes on the final overnight date of the season. It’s romantic and sexy until Kaitlyn confronts him about the running argument he is having with Nick.”

In other words, Kaitlyn is going to find out about Shawn visiting Nick in his hotel room and threatening him. Think that’s going to go well? We’ve said it before, but we don’t think we’ve ever seen two people on the show, at least among the guys, who hate each other this much at this point. It means more stress for Kaitlyn, but probably more entertaining for us.
