‘Arrow’ season 4: Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, cast have first table read!

Arrow -When you are the cast of “Arrow,” there is truly very little rest for the awesome. You are back to work this week on the upcoming fourth season, and that includes today getting together for the first table read. Cheers to that! The show’s writers room confirmed it with a post on Instagram showing four of the series’ anchors in Stephen Amell (Oliver), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity), David Ramsay (Diggle), and Willa Holland (Thea). All of them are going to have a big role more than likely in the premiere, even if their roles end up being very different from what they were during the majority of season 3.

For example, we imagine that the story this season will first pick up with Oliver and Felicity still off somewhere trying to get a break from crime-fighting. That way, they can actually enjoy life and trying to be together for a change! We wish that we were actually getting more of the early stages of their relationship on the show (more capacity for fun), but sometimes you have to take what you can get … provided that they are still together. There’s no guarantee of anything just yet.

Meanwhile, Diggle, Thea, and Laurel may be working to keep together the superhero operation in Starling City, and there is the potential for a variety of new villains to turn up at some point. Be prepared for a few new revelations on them early this season.

“Arrow” season 4 will premiere on The CW come Wednesday, October 7 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
