‘The Last Ship’ season 2 spoilers: Eric Dane promises big cliffhanger at Comic-Con

Last Ship -The second season of “The Last Ship” is airing on Sunday night, but you don’t have to wait this long for some further scoop! The cast of the second season was at San Diego Comic-Con this week promoting the show, and there were at least a few teases to go along with that.

One of the biggest ones, though, is that the producers of the show are planning something for the end of this season that could potentially blow a gasket in your brain. As star Eric Dance told Entertainment Weekly, there is going to be an enormous cliffhanger that could even be stronger than the one that you saw at the end of season 1 (and that one was also pretty substantial). To us, what this clearly means more than anything else is that the show has found a way yet again to bring the anticipation and hype to another level. How can you not be excited about that?

With that being said, the show does still need to get renewed first. While the series has been consistent so far this season, it is down in the 18-49 demographic from season 1. We do imagine that it will still be renewed, but we hope that this does not become a trend of any sort from one season to the next.

You still have a long ways to go until you get to the finale of season; heck, we just finished one of the most intense episodes of the season this past week! We’re going to have a whole lot more in the way of news on the show soon, so be on the lookout.
