How did ‘Chasing Life’ season 2 premiere fare in the ratings?

If we have learned anything about ABC Family in the past six years of doing TV news, it is that this is a network that has no fear at all when it comes to cancelled TV shows. With that in mind, it is very well possible that “Chasing Life” could be ind danger … and we are going to have some updates accordingly throughout the second season.

There were ultimately a variety of different reasons to be worried about the ratings for this show, starting with the fact that the premiere date was tossed around like a hot potato for weeks, and it would have been understandable if some fans were somewhat confused as a result. Luckily, in this position it does not appear like that happen.

However,With that being said, let us not pretend here for a second like the ratings for Monday night’s premiere episode were really a stark improvement over season 1. The good news is that the 0.3 rating it received for the first episode (per TVbythenumbers) is around the same number that it was receiving in the winter half of season 1. However, at the same time it is down significantly from the ratings that the show received at this point in the summer of last year.

With that in mind, we have to say that the series’ future, at least for now, is somewhat up in the air. As with many other shows, we’ll have to see what the next few weeks hold. That should teach us a thing or two about its future trajectory.
