‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Head of Household practice; Da’Vonne’s plea

With the Head of Household Competition coming on “Big Brother 17” Thursday night, isn’t this the perfect time to prepare? Clearly, production seems to think so since we are getting at present a little bit of a tradition: The installation of a new apparatus in the house!

On the live feeds this afternoon we saw what was basically a combination lever / slingshot. You use it to let a ball build up momentum as gravity takes it down a slope, and then you sling it to see if it can land in a bucket. Maybe there is a small amount of timing / skill to this, but it is at least 50% luck and maybe more than that. It’s hard to really say that the winners are necessarily going to be the most deserving, but hey: At least this typically makes for a really fun competition on the Thursday live show.

Before this happened this afternoon, Da’Vonne had a rough afternoon continuing to fight for her life to no avail. Her primary argument was actually a pretty good one: Meg is on the block right now, and if you don’t take her out, she is going to be sitting at the end with everyone completely clueless how she got there. We do think that it benefits many to keep her, given that Meg has a firm alliance with James and Jason and will probably not break that.

Yet, these are people thinking mostly based on emotion now since Day has caused a lot of drama. She hasn’t always helped herself, either, but her breakdown earlier was relatable and it was rather sad to see that the only person who really comforted her was Vanessa.
