‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6 spoilers: Is Maura about to be facing big trouble?
In some ways, the “character on crime procedural is fired / suspended / arrested for supposed bad behavior” storyline is as old as television. It’s going to happen on almost every procedural, and we don’t blame the writers for it. There are only so many different stories that you can fit into the span of a single hour, and sometimes it provides you with at least a chance to see something new from a character you’ve come to know for being one way.
Therefore, don’t be that shocked to see that Maura Isles is going to face some similar trouble on an upcoming episode of “Rizzoli & Isles” season 6. This is a chance, as mentioned, to learn a thing or two more about how she would handle this sort of stress, though we of course are not going expecting her to be separated from her job for long. The incident to her happens on the upcoming episode “Misconduct Game” airing on July 14; if you look below, you can get some other details in terms of what to expect:
“A crime tech is murdered, shocking the team. It’s soon suspected the tech tampered with evidence, leading Maura to be suspended from her position.”
The challenge for this story will be not just finding a way for Maura to return to work, but also creating enough interesting wrinkles to have this particular case stand out. The interesting thing here is that while Maura would probably struggle with suspension, there’s a good chance that Jane could be just as unhappy, if not more so.
