Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick split after nine years

While this is not the first time that there have been rumors surrounding Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s relationship status, this is the first time that there really seems to be some truth that the couple, most famous for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and a dozen or so other shows that have popped up on E! since this family first found a significant amount of fame, have split up. They have been together for nine years and have three children. However, the two never actually married, so this will not be a divorce proceeding by any means. The news of this split comes after Scott was seen partying across Europe, and was even spotted with an ex-girlfriend in Monte Carlo.

This is what a source close to Scott is saying for the time being about this split to People Magazine:

“He’s in a classic shame spiral right now. He knows he’s screwing up, and he knows what he needs to do … He has people telling him to go home and work things out, to stop this behavior, to repent and to move forward. But he’s not doing it.”

If Scott does want help, the first thing that he is going to have to do clearly is find a way to help himself. That seems for the time being to be one of his biggest problems, since he has a group of people around him who seem to want the best.

We know that it’s easy to hate on the Kardashian family from time to time, given their thirst for constant press and the nature of some of these headlines. However, it’s always sad to see a couple with kids fall apart after so many years.
