‘Major Crimes’ season 4 spoilers: First look at ‘Personal Effects’

Major Crimes -Can Rusty figure out just what happened to Alice on “Major Crimes“? This has been a very solid side-story throughout the majority of season 4, and it has been very much intriguing to see some of the twists and turns along the way. So far, we’ve seen him do everything from conducting interviews to being forced to speak out with Sharon, and it doesn’t appear that this story is going away anytime soon.

What we have now in terms of evidence of this are some of the first details from the upcoming July 13 episode entitled “Personal Effects,” with one of the major keys of this story being seeing how Rusty starts to find himself split between his own case work, and also doing his part to assist Provenza. The TV Guide synopsis below offers some additional insight:

“A pile of bones is discovered, and the squad discovers the victim had a troubled past. Meanwhile, as Rusty continues snooping into the Alice case with help from a new friend, he also gets drawn into helping Provenza make a big move.”

We are starting to think that determining what happened with Alice could be something that remains a part of the story for at least the entire summer portion of the season, and for the time being, we’re all right with that. It at least allows for an opportunity to focus on something different as a sideplot until Stroh inevitably enters the picture again at some point in the series. (That may not happen this season, but it is an open thread for a reason.)
