‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ spoilers: When do Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, cast begin filming?

July is a busy time for TV series production, and it is not limited to just shows on broadcast networks. You’ve been waiting to see production get underway on “American Horror Story: Hotel” sooner rather than later, and the big news that we have now is that the cast is going to be getting together in a matter of days!

This glorious news was first confirmed by Denis O’Hare, who is rejoining the show in a mysterious role, on Twitter. O’Hare’s casting was first confirmed by Ryan Murphy last month, though nothing has been said about his character so far. We do know that we’d like to see him play one of the good guys this time, mostly to change things up after some of the parts he has played on this show and also “True Blood” over the years. After also seeing him on “The Good Wife,” we’re pretty sure that he can do pretty much anything that Murphy draws up for him.

The cast for this new season is tremendous, and it includes everyone from Lady Gaga to Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and many more. It should premiere on FX this October.

In some ways, the timing for the start of filming is absolutely perfect, mostly because Bomer just finished up a promotional tour for the latest “Magic Mike” movie, and he now has a chance to take on a very different sort of project for some time.
