‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Is a change coming in replacement nominee?

Liz -The Veto Ceremony is most likely not taking place in “Big Brother 17” until Monday, and the great news that goes along with that is mostly that it allows for an opportunity for there to be a change of plans … and that is a really good thing for Head of Household Shelli.

What we’ve been saying for a little while now is that if she wanted to ensure that Da’Vonne left the game this week, she would be smart to try and nominate Meg as replacement nominee. She is someone generally well-liked in the house, and therefore the odds of her going home are very low. Also, even if Meg does somehow leave the game, she is someone who is for sure a part of the majority alliance, anyway, and it hurts people like Day and Jason more than anyone else.

Until today, the plan was to nominate Liz, but we give some credit once again here to Austin (extremely underrated player) for figuring out a way to make this move happen. He has helped to convince Shelli to see the light (at least for now), and realize that Meg is a little bit of a better choice.

For the sake of the game, we also sign off on this. Meg is pretty good in the DR and seems to be a decent player, but at the same time she is not someone we’d be extremely depressed to lose. Losing Liz would be terrible because of the Twin Twist, and there is a pretty good chance that the votes would flip against Shelli and she would go.

It’s been mostly a quiet day in the house other than seeing people wear patriotic outfits for the Fourth of July; we’ll let you know if something more transpires.
