‘Penny Dreadful’ season 2 finale spoilers: Eva Green on Ethan’s secret (video)

With the “Penny Dreadful” season 2 finale airing on Showtime Sunday night, the network is doing just about everything that it can to set up and tease what lies ahead.

For example, the sneak peek below more or less sets up where the situation lies for Vanessa going into the key finale. She is cognizant of the fact that there is something that is not particularly right about Ethan despite whatever connection that they may have, and there is a pretty good chance that more of these secrets are going to be unearthed by the time the finale finishes airing. That should be seen as a pretty interesting proposition for almost everyone! It would at least change the game for these two characters in a pretty large way.

We’d say that we were worried about the fate of Vanessa and Ethan going into finale, but we really wouldn’t be being genuine if we were to say that. While we do believe that there are a myriad of characters entering some form of danger in the near future, we really don’t think that either one of them is up on that list. They both should make it through this okay, at least physically. Emotionally is an entirely different story.

Come back tomorrow, as we should have a little bit more in the way of analysis when it comes to at least one key scene from Sunday night’s finale! While we may be confident about Ethan and Vanessa, we’re not feeling that same way on anyone else.
