‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7 spoilers: Kat Graham on Bonnie’s present mindset

“The Vampire Diaries” season 7 is coming to The CW in the fall, but as of late some of the show’s cast has been all the way over in Monaco. Not everyone may be particularly familiar with the Monte Carlo TV Festival, but it is one of the biggest of its kind across Europe and it is a place where actors can promote international airings of their shows. Without a doubt “The Vampire Diaries” is popular in North America, but it also has millions of fans elsewhere!

With that, isn’t this the right time to see some of what Kat Graham has to say about promoting the story ahead? Speaking to Digital Spy, the actress behind Bonnie Bennett gave us some insight into where her character’s head is going to be at emotionally when the show returns. She’s clearly been through a lot, and to go along with that no has to handle the fact that while she lives, Elena is not able to be on this earth:

“I think that Bonnie feels guilty for a lot of things. She feels guilty about her [grandma], she feels guilty about Elena, I’m sure. She’s had to make sacrifices; even when she made sacrifices she thought she needed to, she ended up losing a lot of herself. I think she’s finally in this ‘I’m going to do what I need to do for myself’ place, and I really like that.”

Hopefully there is a big season ahead for Bonnie, and that she and Damon are able to use their newfound friendship to team up in a variety of interesting ways. With Nina Dobrev gone, every member of the supporting cast is likely to get even more attention and material.
