‘Reign’ season 3 spoilers: There’s a spy in the midst!

Aren’t TV shows more interesting when you can get a spy character or two involved? This must be at least what some of the producers of “Reign” must have been thinking, at least based on some of the latest news that we have on the subject of the show right now.

Per a report from Entertainment Weekly, the CW series is getting ready to cast someone in the role of the English ambassador to France. This is someone who is probably going to be well-versed in everything going on in France, and of course that will be very much a good thing for their respective country of employ.

As for how this could end up being rather problematic, we don’t think it is hard to necessarily spell this one out: The odds are pretty high that this person ends up being a spy, and that means trouble for almost everyone in France that they collide with. It’s possible that this character could be someone who has already been teased in some other articles, but at the same time don’t write off the possibility that this character could end up being someone we have not written about at length just yet.

We are still ultimately going to have quite a bit of time to sit around and speculate over the future of “Reign” and all of its characters. After all, season 3 is not going to be premiering until Friday, October 9 on The CW. We’ll have some further news as it becomes available.
