‘Penny Dreadful’ season 2, episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Will Eva Green’s Vanessa come out on top?
Tonight, Showtime aired the penultimate episode of “Penny Dreadful,” but come next week, the story is finally going to be at an end for 2015. “And They Were Enemies” is set up to be an electrifying conclusion to the story of Vanessa and Ethan for now, and may at the same time set the stage for what should be a heck of an epic third season.
Since the episode tonight is still airing at the time that we are writing this preview, we’re not going to give too much away in the writing of this article. May we direct you to the awesome promo instead? This is a chance to at least give you a reminder of exactly what is coming, and however intense this is going to be specifically.
Is it possible that we are going to lose characters in this episode? We figure that we would say it is likely. The promo already does hint at bloodshed, and in order for Vanessa to make it out of here, she may need to make some of her boldest moves yet, whether it be with the Demon or otherwise. If you have thought that past few weeks have been especially intense or if you enjoyed what Eva Green’s character worked on tonight in regards to Sir Malcolm, we are far from being out of the woods.
In addition to this preview, we imagine that we will have so much more to tease during the week. Stay tuned.

The one main black character, and Hollywood still had to kill him off. What the hell Penny Dreadful?!? I know the show is about respinning old Victorian goth stories, but goddamn.

Sembene is not dead. I just can’t accept that. There’s a scene where he yells, “KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!” that we haven’t seen yet, or did I miss it? All we saw was Ethan taking a bite out of his neck. We never actually saw him “die”. I also hope that we’re not still “killing the black guy” – this show seems to be too clever for that. I’m trying to stay hopeful, because I love his character and there’s so much more we need to know about him. I will really be upset if it turns out I’m wrong.

Just ending just beginning. More stories to come, I think most will come out alive or something like it. And the bond between Ethan and Vanessa will be more binding. But I think the frankensteins ( male and female have a long story ahead). I think Ethan is very important in Vanessas fight against herself.

I´m agree, but will be Vanessa who will save Ethan, not the opposite side this time. And Victor could to end killed by his own creations…
