‘Wayward Pines’ spoilers: How far will Kate go to leave?
We have learned over time now that there is an apparent purpose to title town on “Wayward Pines” … but at the same time, this does not quite mean that everyone is going to be viewed equally there. Some people will be in more danger than others, and understandably there are also going to be many people interested in getting out of there sooner rather than later. Kate is going to be one such person.
So what is going to be driving her current emotional state? As executive producer Chad Hodge rightfully comments in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, this is a woman who is going to have quite a bit of a reason at the moment to continue to try to get out of there. Whether or not she actually succeeds, though, is of course an entirely different story:
“Ethan’s been trapped in this town for just a few weeks … Kate has been trapped in this town for 12 years. The amount of frustration and the amount of anger that she must have, and that other people in her group must have, you would pretty much get to a place of, ‘I have nothing to lose,’ so you will do anything to get out of here.”
Kate is going to act pretty quickly … or at least she will have to. Just remember here that there is really only so much time left this season, and as we’ve been promised many times over, things will mostly be wrapped up.
