‘Better Call Saul’ season 2 spoilers: When does filming begin?

Better Call Saul season 1This is not the time of year when news on “Better Call Saul” is exactly common. The show is at present on a filming hiatus, and it will not premiere with new episodes on AMC until most likely early next year.

Still, some of that could be changing to a certain extent at some point in the near future … at least depending on how much news producers are willing to let out. What we can say is that there have been some casting notices released out for extras on the upcoming second season, and early buzz is that filming for Bob Odenkirk and company will begin right after the Fourth of July. With that in consideration, let’s hope that everyone involved can handle the heat! Just in looking at the weather forecast for the next week, temperatures are going to be above 90 degrees Fahrenheit every single day, even the ones that have a forecast for rain.

To a certain extent, we know that it is fairly easy to telegraph some of the events that are coming on “Better Call Saul.” After all, we’re talking here about a show that will eventually put Jimmy McGill in a position to meet Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. The season 1 finale showed him that he was no longer going to try to just make his brother Chuck happy.

Sure, we personally want to see something in the future for his character in Omaha, but we’re not sure if we will get that beyond the flashforward that we saw in the pilot.
