‘Heroes: Reborn’ spoilers: ‘Reign,’ ‘Haven’ alum signs up

Heroes -Throughout the past couple of weeks, the majority of the news in regards to “Heroes: Reborn” has been about recurring players who played some sort of part in the original show. For example, we’re talking here about Masi Oka, Sendhil Ramamurphy, and Greg Grunberg joining Jack Coleman and Jimmy-Jean Louis on the series. A good chunk of the original cast is back, though we’ve got some notable omissions to such as Hayden Panettiere and Zachary Quinto.

Today, the news that we have is actually about a new character for a change! As reported by Deadline, Aislinn Paul (“Reign,” “Haven”) has signed up to recur on the NBC series premiering on Thursday nights this fall, and unfortunately there is not too much known about the role.

To us, the most interesting story when it comes to many “Heroes: Reborn” castings is simply how little people are saying about these parts by and large. Why all of the secrecy? Does not knowing who anyone is going to play really make the show that much better? We’d argue that this is debatable, but there are clearly someone within the show or the network that thinks so. We actually wish that we had something a little more tangible, since it would give us something to look forward to beyond just a once-great show that eventually became mired in inconsistency.

We’ll have some other news on the revival as it starts to come out throughout the summer, so be sure to be on the lookout for all of that and then some.
