‘The Originals’ season 3 spoilers: The worst of times for Klaus and Hayley

Just in case you were finding yourself hopeful in any way that Klaus and Hayley would be on better terms when “The Originals” season 3 premieres on The CW, we come bearing some particular news: Now is probably not the best time in the world to have hope. These two are not going to be getting along in the slightest.

Per a report from Entertainment Weekly, there is a four-month time jump between the end of the second season and the start of the third one, and in that time Phoebe Tonkin’s character has continued to be trapped in wolf form. She has not been given much in the way of support from anyone, and as a result of that she has spent a whole lot of time stewing and having some of that anger build up in her. That is probably not a great thing for anyone hoping that these two would actually start to work something out and get on the same page.

Just in case that is not bad enough for you, also know this: We’re not even going to see Klaus put in any real work to help her break the curse! This will lead to conflict down the road; heck, it could even lead to conflict immediately! One way or another, you can expect issues to come up.
