‘Chasing Life’ season 2 premiere: Italia Ricci confirms (another) time change

Chasing Life -When it comes to the ABC Family series “Chasing Life,” the times keep on changing … and not exactly in the best way. Originally this was a show set to premiere late this summer, and then it was moved up to earlier with one major caveat: It was set to be the first ABC Family series to air starting at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. This was a dangerous place for the show to be, since it would be a complete gamble. Maybe viewers would stay up to watch it, or maybe they would just assume that nothing good comes on the network at that time and leave.

Luckily, we have confirmation that there is yet another time change that brings the show back to where it really should be: 9:00 p.m. Eastern. Star Italia Ricci confirmed this in a post on Twitter, and expressed excitement to go back to the show’s original time.

Will it have a better chance of success now? Probably, especially when you consider synergy. It will now directly follow “The Fosters,” which is one of the most solid series that ABC Family has going right now in terms of attention. Sure, it does not have the ratings of a certain “Pretty Little Liars,” but there are also not many shows out there on cable that do.

As for what will be the next facet of April’s journey on “Chasing Life,” we will just have to wait and see. You always want a show you enjoy to have a long life, but in this case it feels that way for a variety of different reasons. That also means that April is likely surviving her battle.
