‘Wayward Pines’ episode 7 preview: What happens in ‘Betrayal’?

Tonight, “Wayward Pines” gave you an episode that was, at least for the most part, one about answers. You understood more of the construction of the community, the roles within it, and also a little more about what Ethan’s role could be … potentially. The truth here is that there is still plenty of time for things to change, and we are definitely prepared for a little more in the way of drama to come sooner rather than later.

The next new episode carries with it the somewhat-ominous title of “Betrayal,” and if that does not pique your interest in one form or another already, hopefully the synopsis below courtesy of Fox will:

“After discovering the truth behind Wayward Pines, Ethan finds a bomb planted in his car, which makes him question people whom he thought he could trust. Meanwhile, Kate and Harold have a fertility consult meeting with Nurse Pam and Ben and Amy’s (guest star Sarah Jeffery) relationship heats up.”

There are only a select number of episodes left this season, and with that in mind, don’t you have to assume that things are going to be heating up? That appears to be a foregone conclusion, especially when you remember all of the notions that this season is actually going to be wrapping things up properly this season rather than forcing a renewal with some sort of epic cliffhanger.
