‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Are Jeff and Jackie from ‘The Amazing Race’ confirmed?

Here is something that we definitely did not expect to happen on “Big Brother 17” prior to the new episode tonight: A live-feed leak that actually provided a little bit of information!

For one thing, we can now confirm that both Jeff and Jackie from this past season of “The Amazing Race” are on the season! We visibly saw Jackie on the feeds during the leak, while we heard Jeff’s name at least mentioned earlier in a conversation. These two will most likely be confirmed in some way sooner rather than later, possibly as early as tonight’s episode. Putting them on the show is an interesting twist, mostly because while “Big Brother” contestants have gone on to appear on other CBS reality shows, typically the closest we’ve come to that happening here is siblings a la Willie Hantz and Elissa Slater.

We’re going to withhold some judgment on Jeff and Jackie for now, though we do hold firm to our opinion that we would’ve rather seen Hayley & Blair or a consistently more dramatic team on the show if they were going in this direction. Part of the appeal here could be that they had no real relationship before the season started, and who knows what they think about each other now?

If nothing else, we’re glad that it is not a “Big Brother” returning player twist or anything; let’s save all the good people for an all-star season in the event that something like this is going to happen.

Ultimately, the feeds were only up for a fraction of time, so if you missed it, that’s all you are really going to get until likely midnight on the east coast.
