‘Ink Master’ season 6, episode 2 podcast: Jessa and Bart on Ryan Hadley elimination, Dave Clarke boldness

Ink MasterThere was a lot going on in episode 2 of “Ink Master” which means there will be a lot for co-hosts, Jessa Carter and Bart to talk about on this week’s podcast!  There’s Ryan Hadley’s elimination, Dave Clarke taking on the judges for Earl Noble and of course the tattoos everyone produced this week.

We will be talking first and foremost about the tattoos and with this being American Traditional week Bart will likely have a lot to say on that subject matter (if you are a long time listener, you already know his stance on this style). There were a lot of really solid tattoos, but with Oliver Peck and his mentor Richard Stell being on the panel the pressure was on to produce the best American Traditional tattoos of their lives.

We have seen tattoo artists standing up to the judges for bad critiques in the past, but Dave Clarke brought this to a whole other level last night. He may be the first contestant to ever stand up to the judges for another contestant, but what made the whole situation a little strange was that Earl Noble didn’t seem to want Dave’s help in the judging room. There’s lots to discuss on that situation.

Last but not least we will be chatting about Ryan Hadley’s elimination. Was St. Marq trying to help him or trying to sabotage Ryan during that elimination eagle tattoo? Also, is it smart game play to throw other contestants under the bus in front of the judges? We’ve seen it work in the past, but we have also seen it blow up in people’s faces. Jessa and Bart have some pretty strong opinions on that, so sit back, turn up the volume and let’s talk “Ink Master”!
