‘Suits’ season 5, episode 2 preview: How Gabriel Macht’s Harvey moves forward
Tonight’s premiere episode of “Suits” was not entirely an easy one for Harvey Specter. By the time we made it to the end of the episode, we started to get the sense that maybe he was beginning to accept the notion, however difficult that it may be, that he is not going to be getting Donna back anytime in the future. Therefore, maybe it is time for him to move forward.
For at least part of the next new episode “Compensation,” we are going to see some of this. Not only that, but Mike faces some trouble courtesy of Robert Zane, who is probably going to be even more commandeering than usual thanks to his new engagement to Rachel. For some other details right now on what to expect, just be sure to check out the official USA synopsis below:
“Harvey searches for a replacement for Donna. Mike takes a case as a favor, which he must justify to Jessica – while Rachel’s father, Robert Zane, offers some unsolicited advice about Rachel’s engagement to Mike. And Louis is embroiled in surprising money matters, while an up-and-coming partner, Jack, makes his presence known to Jessica, confronting her about whether Harvey’s way of doing business is beneficial to the firm.”
We imagine that Harvey, Donna, and Louis are going to continue to do this dance for some time, and while we love Harvey and Donna around each other, we hope that she doesn’t rush back. This introduces a new dynamic to the firm, and at the same time forces Harvey to confront some things about himself that he may not potentially like very much.
