‘Longmire’ season 4 filming nears its end (at least for Katee Sackhoff)

The past few months may have been somewhat quiet for “Longmire” fans, but we imagine that when the dust settles, it will almost certainly be worth it. After all, filming is getting close to complete on the show’s fourth season!

As Katee Sackhoff recently confirmed in a post on Twitter, there are only a select number of scenes left for her, and she would be heading back to Los Angeles next week. While certain cast members do tend to finish at certain times, this is a good sign that we are probably very close to the end of season 4. We’re expecting another big season from Vic, especially given her fan following and the show’s move to Netflix. Given that Netflix also streamed “Battlestar Galactica” for a while, we imagine that a good many of her fans are already subscribers!

Now, if only all of this got us a little closer to a premiere date … but we’re all right, given that we know it is coming this fall. The show will need a little bit of time in the edit bay and to get everything together post-production, but there is no reason to think that you will still be waiting to find out what happens next for Vic, Walt, and the rest of the gang by the time we make it to the holidays.

Story-wise Netflix and the producers have kept things under wraps, but that really does not shock us too much given what we saw take place with Branch in the season 3 finale. We imagine that after a premiere date is named, we’ll start to get more in the way of footage and other tidbits.
