‘The Bachelorette’: Nick Viall defends Kaitlyn Bristowe comments, show ratings

Nick -If there is something that we definitely have learned at the moment about “The Bachelorette” contestant Nick Viall, it is that above all else, this is not a man afraid to speak his mind. He is opinionated early and always, and what we feel like he was a biggest victim of Monday night was over-sharing. While we don’t necessarily disagree with all of his points, many of them were things that didn’t necessarily need to be said. In part, we blame production on this because they milked all of the scenes with him and Kaitlyn like nobody’s business.

Below, you can see more of what Nick had to say on all of this on Twitter, applauding Kaitlyn for addressing the subject of sex while also saying a variety of other things on the subject. Once again, these are a series of points that he is becoming known for, and people are either going to love or hate him for it. Nothing this season is doing is changing opinions.

Ultimately, what we’re mostly curious about at this point is if anyone at the “Men Tell All” or “After the Final Rose” will feel any different at all about Nick than what they felt during the season.

For those curious, we also figured that we would include in this post the latest on the show’s ratings. Last night’s new episode posted a 1.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which further proves that people don’t stop tuning out just because of something they don’t like. If you recall, Juan Pablo’s season of “The Bachelor” generated some really big numbers.
