‘The Bachelorette’: Brady Toops meets Britt Nilsson’s mom!

While the show is not giving you a dose of Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops at the end of every new episode, they are doing something else that we consider to be rather nice. At least once every other week, we are getting some sort of update as to where the two people are in their relationship. Tonight, that made a big move in the right direction as Brady had to meet Britt’s mom. Think of this as a hometown date, just one without the awkwardness that comes from the fact that there are other people around at the same time.

Of course, as far as a segment goes this was still the letdown to end all letdowns. We spent so long looking forward to this coming on the air, only for almost all of it to have been given away beforehand.

Do we imagine that there will be some sort of substantial update on the couple’s relationship at some point? Sure, but it will probably not be until we get to the “Men Tell All” special or some other point when the show needs a whole lot of that extra coverage. What is so interesting about this story for now is that so many of the guys left on Kaitlyn’s season seem to be all over the place, and Britt may have managed to find one of the best for her the very first night.
