When could ‘Home Fires’ season 2 premiere? We estimate now!
Throughout six of the past seven weeks, we’ve had a chance to catch some entertaining British television in the form of “Home Fires” on ITV. The series has been at times engaging, at times emotional, and overall compelling. It also happens to be over for the year.
So when can you expect it back? One thing you better anticipate now is a long time waiting for potential premiere dates. This is a network that tends to not rush when it comes to revealing such things, meaning that it could be the spring of 2016 before any official information is released one way or another. At the moment, we would guess that Sunday, May 1 would be the date, at least provided that the series wants to keep the schedule the same. Season 1 premiered, after all, on May 3.
The only difficulty that comes with airing “Home Fires” around this time is that due to the “Britain’s Got Talent” final, the way in which the show airs is going to be inevitably fragmented to a certain degree. There will be a little bit of a natural break that has to enter the picture just because of the way that the talent competition runs for practically forever in its last episode. Still, it is only a week’s hiatus, and that is not too terrible.
We will have some further updates throughout the filming process, and therefore that is something to keep an eye out for.
