‘Penny Dreadful’ season 2, episode 8 preview: Evelyn Poole’s latest; an Eva Green video

We are starting to get near the end of “Penny Dreadful” season 2, and over the course of the next three episodes, we’re going to get a sense as to which characters will make it through to the end (at least for the year), and which characters are going to get what many people feel to be comeuppance.

Could Evelyn Poole fall into the latter character? She is an interesting case study. From one vantage point, you of course know that the character is not exactly on the same side as the good guys; however, there is something almost entrancing about the sort of evil that she possesses, and you want to see more of what she is capable of over time. She’s a compelling video.

The scene below features her and Mr. Lyle, and she tries to get just about everything she wants before saying goodbye. If you enjoy the character, odds are you will in joy the scene.

Just in case you wanted something to go alongside this video featuring Evelyn, the other video we have for you belos features Eva Green talking briefly about the possibly romance for Vanessa and Ethan. There are moments where it looks like it could happen, just as there are also moments where it does not appear nearly as likely. For the time being, one of the reasons that this romance remains so intriguing to many is due to the ambiguity of it all. Who knows what the end of the season will hold?
