‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Stephen Amell on time jump, premiere script

Arrow -Stephen Amell is definitely supportive with his fans, and to go along with that, also happens to be a staunch supporter of his hometown Toronto Blue Jays. He’s been campaigning hard for Josh Donaldson to get voted into the MLB All-Star Game, and how he should be starting over members of the Kansas City Royals team.

As a way to support Donaldson’s campaign, Amell did a lengthy Q&A on Facebook (watch here) that included a lot of cool information about filming the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” sequel and his love of baseball. He also said that there would be a major time jump going into “Arrow” season 4, and he also did admit to being very much surprised by what he read in the script for the first episode:

“It legitimately did … I emailed [executive producer] Marc Guggenheim directly after reading the season four premiere with three or four very pointed questions. Which he answered…mostly.”

It’s a good Q&A to watch for the most part, even if you don’t love baseball. Amell is a very good storyteller, and there are some good tales in here regarding him dealing with rival fans, and where he was when the Blue Jays last won the World Series. He also briefly mentions the “Legends of Tomorrow” spin-off show, saying that “anything that [gets him closer to] working with Victor Garber is a good thing.”

Season 4 of “Arrow” starts filming a little bit later this summer, and it is going to be premiering come October. There’s no specific date soon, but we’ll probably get that soon enough.
