‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: Speculation on Cary, Alicia’s future
The seventh season of “The Good Wife” is not going to premiere on CBS until the fall, and thanks to that there is not a whole lot of official information that is out there. Then again, we are at least still thrilled to have a few assorted details all about what should be one of the more interesting stories this season. As for who is front and center for it, think along the lines of Matt Czuchry’s character. Just remember for a minute the position that he is in at the moment. Kalinda has left, and with Alicia Florrick off potentially starting her own firm, these two could end up becoming rivals.
While Czuchry may not know much about the story ahead, he told E! News in a new interview a little bit about what would be fun to play when it comes to the Cary – Alicia dynamic moving into the future:
“I think what could be interesting is if they’re on opposite sides, but they’re in a different place in terms of their connection … They are friends and I think there’s a mutual respect there, so if they are against each other but have that friendship at the same time, those gray areas, to be able to play that, would be interesting.”
Our feeling is that you do want to give us at least some reminders that there is still a preexisting relationship and friendship there between Alicia and Cary. However, at the same time you want to also give us some further evidence that these two are not entirely going to agree all of the time given their new circumstances.
