NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 3, episode 3 preview: Will Graham visits Hannibal’s old home

Hannibal -Can Hannibal Lecter truly ever go home again? This is one of the focuses of the latest preview for Thursday night’s “Hannibal,” as Will Graham picks up his search for Dr. Lecter all the way in Lithuania, a part of the world in which he grew up. It makes sense for the search to ramp up here, as this could be the sort of place that Lecter could truly disappear (at least for a time), given that his ancestral home appears to be large in scope.

Unfortunately for Hugh Dancy’s character, he cannot seem to find him … though it does appear as though he has made some other key discoveries in the process. We’ll let the sneak peek below speak for itself, but let’s just go ahead and say that it is not big on dialogue.

We feel like the show is in an interesting position going into Thursday’s episode, mostly in that the show thrives thanks to the chemistry of Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen, and the two actors have spent the majority of the time working away from each other so far. Also, this season has been rather visual, and we find ourselves going into this episode hungrier for something a little more tangible to grasp onto.

Granted, we do know that this will be coming, and it will be coming soon. There are key orders of business that must be done before we can get to “Red Dragon,” and that includes finding a way to get Hannibal at least in handcuffs provided the show adapts faithfully.
