‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6, episode 2 preview: Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander, and fishing!

Tonight, “Rizzoli & Isles” season 6 returned to TV with a story that had some lighter moments, but also told a pretty powerful story as Frankie had to try to clear his name. Next week, the show is going to be heading in a very different direction, and one that somehow manages to combine the worlds of crime-solving and fishing into one. It’s a chance to really see just about everyone out of their element.

As you may have heard already, “Bassholes” is the cheeky title for this episode, and if you look below, you can get a pretty great sense of what you can expect via the synopsis:

“Jane and Maura find themselves submerged in the cutthroat, high stakes world of competitive bass fishing when a tournament-leading fisherman is killed. At the same time, Frankie is paying the price after losing a bet.”

Basically, the promo below is a chance to get more of a visual on this case, but we’ll be honest here in saying that it’s not like we are really getting that substantial of a difference between this and the synopsis in terms of content. Both convey the same message; the only change is that you get to see Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander on the scene here.

The best thing about looking at this promo? Think along the lines of the fact that we are extremely early in the season still! There’s quite a bit of great stuff to look forward to, and this is something we’ll definitely be talking about more and more over time.
