Teen Choice Awards 2015: Emily Bett Rickards, Danielle Panabaker, Nina Dobrev compete in our poll

Teen Choice -We’ve said a few times over that the Sci-Fi / Fantasy round of voting for the 2015 Teen Choice Awards is somewhat stacked, and this time around ultimately is no exception. Choice TV Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy is a crowded category, and one that is almost entirely dominated by The CW. If it wasn’t for “Once Upon a Time,” the network would have taken this one over on the same level as they have the Actor category we discussed yesterday. Chalk that up to The CW really doing a great job supporting the genre.

The awards air on Fox August 16, but before that why not just take part in our own personal poll? You can share your thoughts on this field at the bottom of this article; be sure to also head over here to see some of the other categories that we have spotlighted so far!

The nominees

Candice Accola (The Vampire Diaries)

Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries)

Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time)

Danielle Panabaker (The Flash)

Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow)

Eliza Taylor (The 100)

Who should win – This is a tough race to call, but we’re going to go with Panabaker! We started the season unsure on the Caitlin Snow character, but she continually won us over throughout to the point that by the end of season 1, she became one of our favorites. Also, the best here is probably still to come whenever Killer Frost truly enters the picture. Granted, it’s easy to also root for Emily or the underdog Eliza in this category for us.

Who will win – We don’t really think it’s tough to figure out that Nina Dobrev is going to be the frontrunner, given that she has won this award before, and there may be a sentiment among “Vampire Diaries” fans that she really deserves it for her last season on the show. She’s going to be mighty tough to defeat.
