‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: Jonathan Holloway from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season added

We assumed that there were going to be at least a few men from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of “The Bachelorette” on board for the next “Bachelor in Paradise” season, and we do now know with some certainty who one of them is. Jonathan Holloway has been added to the cast of the beach-themed series on ABC, which will premiere a little bit later this summer.

If you are wondering who Jonathan really is, you’re not alone. He received almost no screen time before being sent home in New York, but he is a single dad and a guy who at least appeared to be reasonably nice on this season. Therefore, that is probably why he received almost zero screen time. Men behaving badly have been one of the biggest themes of the season so far.

So how will Jonathan do on the show? We’re still having a hard time figuring that out. We hope that he finds love, but the elephant in the room with the franchise is that he is one of the few minority contestants, and with a few exceptions like Roberto and Catherine, they tend to not last long on this franchise. Marquel did make it for several weeks on “Bachelor in Paradise,” but even he did not make it into the end of the show.

Hopefully, Jonathan is aware of some of the obstacles he faces, but at the same time we also hopes not to take it too seriously and enjoy himself. This is “Bachelor in Paradise” we’re talking about here.
