‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 2 review: Could AJ and Callie live together?
Sometimes, there is a long road to acceptance, and that is something that Jude and Connor on “The Fosters” are facing after Monday night’s new episode. Not only do more people aware of their relationships tatus than ever before, but Connor’s father continues to inject his own feelings into just about everything.
Specifically, he is none too pleased that most of the school now knows about Connor’s sexuality, and while he is putting on some sort of front on the surface, you can still see some of his true feelings underneath.
In the end, this was an episode about forgiveness in so many ways. For example, Callie is still working to let go of Donald, who she spend so much time blaming for the car accident so long ago. Maybe she is going to move forward from this, but it is not entirely clear just yet.
Overall, this was a strong episode of the show that did really spend most of his time focusing on the title, and fathers. What does it mean to care for your children, and how do you move on from mistakes of the past? The dinner at the end for the family was a great way to tie almost everything together. Isn’t that sometimes the best way to tie up an emotional episode?
Well, it turns out that this is not the end … instead, we had the reveal that AJ could live temporarily under the same roof as Callie, and this could be a difficult thing for her to handle given their short history so far. Grade: B+.
