‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, episode 10 (finale): Could Brienne, Jon Snow, Ramsay, or Melisandre die?

Game of Thrones -As you probably know, Sunday night is the “Game of Thrones” finale, and as you also know, people in this universe do have a tendency to die often. Therefore, isn’t this the right time to start to speculate a little on who could be seeing their watch end before season 5 officially comes to a close?

Below, we have a list of people who we personally believe to be at a little more risk than others on the show moving forward. We don’t know any spoilers or anything like that, but these are the people who we think would either be a shocking blow designed to stun fans/ shake up the story, or those whose purpose on the show could be over sooner rather than later.

Ser Jorah – He has fought his way seemingly back in Dany’s good graces, and to us we wonder now whether or not he has come full-circle, and received everything that he wanted. Also, the guy’s got greyscale. It may be better to alleviate his suffering.

Brienne – We worry mostly about Brienne because we don’t know what her long-term goal here is. Maybe she could find a way to actually self Sansa in Winterfell (she does need a little help with it comes to the beacon), but what happens after the debt is repaid?

Stannis – Everyone probably wants to see the end of Stannis Baratheon, but at the moment it feels relatively unlikely that we will lose him since he is such a significant threat to the Iron Throne.

Melisandre – However, we would not be shocked to see the Red Woman go, given that there are many who may have some motivation to do so. Hey, Selyse has more motivation than we can count!

Ramsay Bolton – Could Reek finally turn on his master? It would be a fun scene, but like Stannis that seems to us unlikely.

Jon Snow – If the show really wanted to smack us across the face, killing Jon now would be the way. If they did so, though, what would his life have meant other than exposing all of the problems and dysfunction Beyond the Wall? With Robb and Ned Stark, you could see the series of events leading to their death. We’re not sure we see it here.
