‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 8 preview: First looks at ‘Girl Meets Hurricane’
Watching the evolution of “Girl Meets World” ever since its humble beginnings has been a very interesting thing to behold. Back then, the main issue that the series had was struggling to find a way to balance the humor and the morality of it all, but they’ve figured that out. Not only that, but they have done a much better job implementing many beloved “Boy Meets World” characters in a natural way.
On next week’s new episode entitled “Girl Meets Hurricane,” for example, we’re going to be seeing more of Shawn! The promo below teases that there is going to be fashion and also some humor that comes as a result of that. However, at the same time the episode’s synopsis also teases that something from Shawn’s own past is going to come into way and really start to mess things up:
“Cory and Shawn take the girls out for a fun night. But just as Maya feels closer to Shawn, someone from his past comes back into his life and risks ruining everything.”
We don’t really feel like “Girl Meets World” is the sort of show that is going to implement a whole lot of hyperbole, and it is with that in mind that we are at least somewhat concerned with the direction that this story is going to take. If it is serious, let us just hope that it is some sort of issue that the characters can work through in a very short period of time.
