‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: When will the judging panel be confirmed?

We certainly hope that you are the patient type, given that for the most part, the producers of “The X Factor” have continued to prove that they have utterly no problem at all making us wait for information.

Specifically, we are speaking here this time about when it is going to finally be official as to who the judges are for the upcoming season of the ITV series. You’ve waited for months, and really with all of the endless rumors and gossip that has come in from the tabloids, these months probably feel a little bit more like years. This is, alas, just what happens when you’ve give people hungry for information that much time to twiddle their thumbs.

Per some new reports out of Britain, it appears that July 6 is the first confirmed date for arena auditions in Manchester. (Remember, there is no audition room this year.) This means that everyone will need to have hammered out some of their official decisions in regards to this by the time we come around to that date.

Ultimately, our opinion here is that it would best benefit the series to have made up their mind in regards to judges by the end of the month. If they do that, it does mean that there is at least some time for a brief promotional tour before filming officially begins with the judges. We expect Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini to be present. Meanwhile, Nick Grimshaw of Radio One has received a ton of buzz, with Rita Ora being potentially the final person if a deal can be hammered out.
