‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6 spoilers: Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander, and competitive fishing
For some bizarre reason, we have a fascination for crime procedurals that force their characters into bizarre, uncomfortable situations that then produce awkward comedy. That’s why “Monk” and “Psych” are two of our favorite shows in the genre’s history, and “Rizzoli & Isles” often finds a way to do this, as well.
This brings us of course to “Bassholes,” which is the title for the upcoming second episode of season 6 that will be airing a week from Tuesday on June 23. We’re not going to spend too much time talking about the name (as much as we could, since it is both completely laughable and yet also appropriate given the story. Take a look at the synopsis below:
“Jane and Maura find themselves submerged in the cutthroat, high stakes world of competitive bass fishing when a tournament-leading fisherman is killed. At the same time, Frankie is paying the price after losing a bet.”
We can imagine that this one could be fairly fun for Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander to do, provided that they don’t have to do a whole lot of the “wade around in mud” part of the fishing process. Then again, maybe they’ll like that a whole lot more than we would! Either way, this should be a fun case to look out for; if you are like us, then you may in general just be looking forward to having some more shows to talk about soon. It’s been a fairly long wait over the past few months.
