‘Orange is the New Black’ season 4: Is Taylor Schilling series renewed already?
Mere minutes ago, we reported that Netflix has given quite a wonderful gift to all fans of “Orange is the New Black,” and decided to grant an early release to the entire third season of the show. Tremendous news, right? We certainly like to think so, since you don’t have to wait up until late tonight to watch the first episode or two before going off to bed.
Since the show is starting now, we thought it best to issue one more reminder / report on the show’s future: There is no reason to worry about it for the time being. The streaming service is definitely well aware of what they have on their hands right now, and that is an enormous hit that has crossed into multiple demographics and inspired so much buzz. It was renewed for a fourth season a while back, and that season will be in production throughout this year. The only question that you have to wonder, at least for the time being, is who is going to return. The majority of the cast most likely will, since Netflix has to know that they have a devoted following out there that they do not want to disappoint.
There will be new episodes most likely premiering once again in the summer of 2016, mostly because there’s no reason to change the timing at all.
Eventually, we do wonder whether or not we could see this show or others on Netflix revert over to the more classic TV model of uploading one episode a week, mostly because there are some known advantages to that and it keeps discussing going for a long time. It is just going to be hard for them to do with this show, mostly because you have already given people three seasons of new episodes all at once.
