‘Big Brother 17’ starts rolling out early exclusives, including Derrick Levasseur chat
There are still a little under two weeks to go until the official premiere of “Big Brother 17” on CBS, but the network is starting to at least slowly roll out some of their exclusive content to those of you who have subscribed to date for the live feeds. This included yesterday a chat with reigning champion Derrick Levasseur, arguably one of the greatest one-time players the show has ever seen. You can argue that some criticism of the season is because he was so good that nobody could really compete with him, but that is a credit to his game more so than anything else.
While we’re not going to post a transcript here, we’ll just go ahead and tell you that the majority of the questions and answers are one that you’ve heard before. Derrick is still working in law enforcement, he would consider playing again depending on the circumstances, he is a big fan of the strategic game more than anything else, and he does not necessarily think that Zach Rance was screwed over because of a lot of the twists in the house.
In terms of next season, Derrick said that he is still in the dark as much as anyone about the format, which is not much of a surprise. Given how easy it is for information to get out, we picture in our head CBS not really telling anyone details about that they are planning. As we know, they really even keep it from the players until the last minute. Some of that, but not all of it, could be unveiled next week with the cast.
Of course, we’re going to continue to have some updates on “Big Brother 17” all summer long at the link here, so keep coming back!
