‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 2 review: Sara Harvey’s Andrew revelation and more
Is Andrew really a bad guy, or at least the bad guy. At a number of different points on Tuesday night’s new episode of “Pretty Little Liars” entitled “Songs of Innocence,” you were meant to wonder that question. Aria seemed for the most part more than fine to pin him down as the bad guy. There was a ton of evidence pointing at him as the villain, and it seemed that to a certain extent, she felt like there was enough to pin him down.
Basically, Aria lied to the cops in an effort to ensure that he stayed locked away … even though there is still a small possibility that it was actually not him behind the crimes. Doesn’t this complicate things to a certain extent? We like to think so, since Charles may be out there still causing a variety of problems.
Acting out – Look, Hanna wants to redecorate! Emily’s at the shooting range! Spencer cannot sleep! For the most part, what we saw tonight was the entire cast dealing with what happened in the Dollhouse in their own way … and for the most part, it was not to the benefit of their own health.
Alison – Ali had quite a busy night! At one point, she was listening to her father downplay the existence of Charles DiLaurentis in the family, and then at another point she was bonding with new cop on the scene Lorenzo. She also went to church! She specifically wasn’t the kindest to him when he noticed her there, mostly because she was afraid of judgment.
The big cliffhanger at the end of the night was Sara expressing doubt to Emily that Andrew was not Charles … but we already assumed that given what we know about him so far. We cannot exactly say that this was the most eventful episode, especially after what happened last week. Grade: B-.
