‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: The Rita Ora rumors intensify

While it seemed for a little while there that Rita Ora as a judge on “The X Factor” UK was simply not going to happen, there are now starting to be at least a few signs that some sort of deal could happen. For one, we’re starting to hear a little bit more about the financial side of things; also, Nick Grimshaw of Radio One is rumored to be a judge, and he is a close friend of the “RIP” singer, who was also a part of this past season of “The Voice” over on BBC.

Are there still some concerns that she has? Sure, but according to a source from the Mirror, Simon Cowell is doing whatever he can to make sure that doing the show will have nothing but a positive impact on her career:

“She is worried about the impact of X Factor on her music career in the US so Simon has said she can use his private jet any time. He has launched an extreme charm offensive. He says she can spend what she likes on dresses for the series so she looks great. His final part was to offer a huge money deal. He upped the contract to £1.5million which will make her the highest-paid judge. The deal is massive compared to what the BBC can pay her.”

If all of this is true and she is being offered more money than anyone, how would some of the other judges ultimately feel about this? For now, it appears that Grimshaw is a sure thing, but the final place on the judging panel may remain up in the air until an official announcement is made.
