MTV’s ‘Scream’ spoilers: See the killer new trailer from MTV

MTV’s upcoming remake of “Scream” feels like something that has been in the works for a ridiculously long time. Specifically, it feels like it has been in the development from the beginning of time. Yet, we are getting close to the series actually coming on the air June 30, and the latest trailer to us gives us the first real reason that we’ve had to be genuinely excited about the project.

Until this point, most of our reservations have been around whether or not a network like this could create a project that was intense / scary enough to keep us hooked. After watching this, we feel much more confident than we ever were before about their abilities to pull this off. After all, isn’t this a rather fantastic look at the show?

Granted, even after watching this we still have at least some reservations. Namely, our major concern is on whether or not this show is going to be able to really bring anything to the table that is new, especially when Fox has “Scream Queens” coming up a little bit further in the year. That show promises to be a little more comedic, and it will have that classic Ryan Murphy twist to it. We’ve already seen Ghostface multiple times and in multiple different forms.

Still, we’ll have some further news on this as it gets closer to coming on the air, so be on the lookout for all of those today!
