‘Seven Days in Hell’ trailer: Kit Harington, Andy Samberg star in HBO’s latest TV movie

HBO WhiteYou’ve come to know Kit Harington well for playing the part of Jon Snow on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” but it is pretty clear that the actor is looking to stretch his wings on a different project on the network: TV movie “Seven Days in Hell,” which is all about an insanely long “tennis match” between characters played by him and Andy Samberg.

The network certainly did a good bit of its research when it comes to giving this a realistic feel, given the number of real-life tennis that they have making cameo appearances in here. Also, you have some ridiculously bad / awful hair. The trailer below is proof of that. This looks to be a funny-but-strange project, and one that will give HBO, as well, a chance to get more into other genres with some of their in-house projects. There is also a pretty excellent cast beyond just the two leads, and it feels like they were able to get many a great TV actor/ comic placed in here somewhere.

This movie is going to premiere on HBO come July 11, and we envision the real challenge being getting people to check it out live. This will be a project that more than likely will get better upon repeat viewings, and also with word of mouth. Who doesn’t want to see what Harington does at this point in a more comedic role, especially since it does still allow him to use some of his physical prowess? (Granted, this is a completely different way to use it!)

We’ll have some more news on this project as it starts to come out.
