‘Royal Pains’ season 7 spoilers: First look at ‘Playing Doctor’

While a few members of the “Royal Pains” cast have been technically playing doctor ever since the beginning of the series, this is actually going to be taken to a new level on the upcoming January 16 episode of the show! We just shared with you the title, and the synopsis below is going to offer up some of the first official details:

“An intense Hollywood method actor wants to shadow Hank to prepare for his next role. Divya performs a genetic test on a royal patient who doesn’t want to play by the rules. And Evan accidentally takes his new motto of transparency at Hamptons Heritage a step too far, while Paige learns to put her plans aside and embrace chaos during a home renovation project.”

What is exciting about the actor story to us is that Hank is the sort of character who is somewhat susceptible already to letting matters get inside his own head. Therefore, imagine what he is going to be like once he has someone actually providing commentary on what he sees from him! This could drive the good doctor completely up the wall.

As for the other stories, they are right now a little too vague for us to comment on. What we are personally the most curious about is the status of Jeremiah, who was briefly referenced in the premiere, and will be back this coming episode to assist Divya after she found herself in trouble with the police. Where does his story go from here? He’s not even mentioned above.
