‘Suits’ season 5: See Gabriet Macht, Gabriel Macht, and Rick Hoffman in new photo!

With the “Suits” season 5 premiere on June 24 not too far away now, we are pretty pleased to report that USA is seemingly doing just about everything in their power to promote the show. This includes a wide array of topical promotional photos, and the one that we’ve attached to this article is one of our favorites.

While this image may not feature everyone in the cast, is does give us a very direct reminder of one of the central conflicts at the moment: Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) and Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) battling in one way or another over Donna (Sarah Rafferty), a woman who is many ways both a savior and a guardian angel to the members of the firm. Harvey could not find the worlds to tell Donna exactly what she wanted to hear from him at the end of last season, and with that she finally decided to leave him to work alongside Louis, someone who has grown to be incredibly tight with her, and feels like she understands him professional and even at times emotionally better than anyone. Together, the two are a formidable combination.

While we don’t envision Harvey and Louis doing some sort of medieval joust for Donna during the season, we imagine that there will certainly be some explicit tension between the two. Harvey has to do some serious soul-searching if he wants to figure out just what went wrong here; meanwhile, he will have to brace for whatever the ramifications are if he does somehow convince Donna to go back with him. Louis is not a man who likes to have things taken from him.

Suffice it to say, we’re excited for this story, and really any story Aaron Korsh and the writers have planned.
